HeyArgo
1. App provider
HeyArgo is provided by Valentino Arcuri, based in Arcore (MB), Italy. For support or communications regarding these terms you can write to support@heyargo.app.
2. Applicable conditions
By using HeyArgo you accept these Terms and the Apple standard EULA, which governs the license of the app downloaded from the App Store. These Terms add specific rules for the HeyArgo services. Any mandatory consumer rights granted by applicable law remain unaffected.
3. Account
Some features require Sign in with Apple. You must use your own account, keep your device secure and provide accurate information. Access may depend on the availability of Apple and Firebase services.
4. HeyArgo features
HeyArgo offers tools to organize information about dogs and cats, including the pet profile, reminders, walks, diary, health folder, documents, veterinarian search, achievements, quizzes and informational estimates.
Features may be changed, improved, suspended or replaced for technical, security, legal or service-evolution reasons.
5. No veterinary or medical advice
HeyArgo is an organizational and informational tool. It does not diagnose, does not prescribe treatments and does not replace the advice of a veterinarian, doctor, nutritionist or other qualified professional.
Reminders, nutritional estimates, calories, tips and app content may be incomplete or inaccurate. In case of doubts, symptoms or emergencies, contact a professional or an appropriate emergency service immediately.
6. Apple Intelligence and estimates
Quizzes, generated text and some estimates may use Apple Intelligence on compatible devices. Results are generated automatically, may contain errors and must be verified before making decisions about your pet's health, nutrition or safety.
Availability depends on iPhone model, iOS version, language, region, Apple settings and download of the system models. Other app features may remain available even without Apple Intelligence.
7. Walks, GPS and maps
Steps, distance, calories and GPS route are estimates that can vary based on sensors, signal, device and data entered by the user. They are not a certified medical or sports measurement.
Veterinarian results, addresses, hours, contacts and directions come from MapKit and may be incomplete or out of date. You should verify the information before going there and use the app without putting yourself, other people or animals at risk.
8. Reminders and notifications
Reminders, calendar events and notifications are convenience tools. Their delivery may depend on permissions, settings, battery, system modes and device availability. They must not be the only system used for medications, visits or other important activities.
9. User content
You retain the rights to the content you add, such as photos, notes and documents. This content is stored locally and is not published by HeyArgo. You are responsible for its lawfulness, accuracy and for keeping backups.
You must not enter unlawful content, content that infringes others' rights, or sensitive personal data of other people without a legitimate basis.
10. HeyArgo Premium
Premium features are available through monthly or annual subscriptions managed by the App Store. The price, duration, any free trial and the conditions shown on the purchase screen prevail for each transaction.
Unless cancelled, the subscription renews automatically according to the conditions shown by Apple. It can be managed or cancelled from your Apple Account settings. Restoring purchases, charges and refunds are handled by Apple. Deleting your HeyArgo account or the app does not automatically cancel the subscription.
11. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use HeyArgo for unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purposes;
- attempt to circumvent limits, subscriptions, security or access controls;
- interfere with the app, connected services or other users' accounts;
- copy, distribute or exploit the app beyond what is allowed by law and the Apple license.
12. Third-party services
HeyArgo relies on services provided by Apple and Google Firebase. Their use may be subject to separate terms and policies. HeyArgo does not control the continued availability or the content provided directly by those services.
13. Availability and liability
HeyArgo is provided with reasonable care, but it is not guaranteed to be always available, error-free or compatible with every device. To the extent permitted by law, the provider is not liable for indirect damages, data loss or decisions made by relying solely on estimates, reminders or generated content.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law or the mandatory rights of consumers.
14. Account deletion
The account can be deleted from the app in Account > Delete account. The process requires re-authentication, revokes Sign in with Apple, deletes the Firebase user and removes the local content described in the Privacy Policy.
The provider may restrict access in case of unlawful use, serious breach of these Terms or the need to protect users and services, in compliance with applicable law.
15. Governing law and changes
These Terms are governed by Italian law, without prejudice to the mandatory rights and forum of the consumer. The Terms may be updated when the app, services or regulations change. The date of the last change is shown at the top of the page.
